5 tips on how to instantly improve your Instagram feed!

Do you ever wonder why some Instagram accounts are doing so well?

They do because the people behind them knows that a visually pleasing account overall leads to more likes and followers.

Would you like to improve your Instagram feed?

Here are 5 tips you can use to instantly improve your Instagram feed:

1.Pick a theme.
To get more followers and a consistent theme it is a good idea to choose one or a few topics that you really like.
Choose three things you really love.
It can be any combination you want, for example mountains, travel and sunsets or food, coffee and interior. The possibilities are endless. Of course you can pick your one favourite theme, for example fashion, sports, portraits, landscapes or whatever you enjoy taking photos of.
Then post photos of the topics you have chosen and all this together becomes your content, your theme, your Instagram story.

2. Pick an editing style.
To make your Instagram feed consistently nice to look at it can be a good idea in the beginning to select a filter or the editing style you want to use for your photos. You can post process your photos on Instagram, or you can use for example Adobe Lightroom that gives you more options with your editing. This will make your Instagram account look smooth, professional and consistent, when people look at your collection of photos on your account.

3. Take your photos using natural light.
The reason this advice is given to people that wants to know how to get quality photos so often is because it really works.
the best natural light you can get is early in the morning or the hour before and after the sun goes down.
Using natural light for your photos also makes the filters look better and a high quality photo is always a winner. It is recommended to use a tripod, or put your camera on something steady, to get a clear photo when it is getting darker.

4. Space out your photos.
This is a neat little trick and here is how to do it.
If you have 5 photos of the same flower from different angles , do not post them right next to each other.
The reason for this is that the human eye finds it difficult to separate the pictures when they are all of the same thing. Space out your photos. This is how you achieve a balanced Instagram account.Β  A big plus point is that it’s much more pleasing for the eye to look at the photos and so your instagram feed becomes more inviting and interesting for your followers.

5. Enjoy what you are doing.
Take your time to create and share the content you really like, maintain your account with new content regularly, and answer any comments you get with a sincere reply, to get twice as many comments πŸ˜‰
When people love what they do , this shines through their work no matter the theme or channel.

Use that creativity of yours and have fun planning your Instagram feed!
